Concealed Carry Permit class Nov. 15 The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office will host a one day concealed carry permit training class on Saturday, Nov. 15 in Eunice at 211 West Park in Eunice beginning at 7:30 a.m. The course is $100 and $80 for a spouse or renewal.
A Eunice woman was taken to a Lafayette hospital after a train and her vehicle collided on Sunday morning. According to Eunice Police Chief Kyle LeBouef, “On Sunday, Oct. 26, at approximately 8:52 a.m., Eunice Police responded to a train and passenger vehicle collision on North 12th. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the train and vehicle had collided at the tracks on North 12th Street, but the train was unable to stop the train until it reached North 8th.
