Work to bring high-speed, broadband to Eunice continues

A high-speed, broadband internet project that is already underway is expected to provide nearly all of the immediate Eunice area with increased fiber optic capability, a member of the Acadiana Planning Commission told the St.

ACADIA PARISH - A Church Point man has been arrested in connection with a number of vehicle burglaries reported in the Branch and Roberts Cove areas of Acadia Parish.
Sheriff’s deputies arrested Tyron Tenill Guidry, 48, on Tuesday, Sept. 23.
Guidry is charged with three counts of vehicle
The Tri-Parish workforce in August dropped by 268 people or 0.4% from the August 2024 count, according to the Louisiana Workforce Commission.
The workforce count includes those employed and those looking for a job.
