Shooting victim identified

The victim of an early Sunday morning shooting has been identified as Markies D. Leday, 34, of Lafayette. Eunice Police Chief Kyle LeBouef said, “The investigation is still ongoing and we are continuing with interviewing several individuals and processing information.
