The following are arrests by Eunice Police. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Friday, Oct. 18 Lessie Collins, 49, 100 block of Lois Lane, Church Point. Probation warrant. Saturday, Oct. 19 Mariyah Aucoin, 26, 1700 block of Charlene Hwy., Church Point.

Evangeline Parish registrar of voters busted

Evangeline Parish Registrar of Voters Ashton Lucas Buller was arrested in Avoyelles Parish, for charges of operating a vehicle while impaired and possession of schedule II CDS. Avoyelles Parish District Attorney Charles Riddle confirmed the arrest and the charges on Oct. 14.
