Deputies disrupt mojo motel delivery

A Lafayette man was busted after he arrived atan Interstate 49 Service Road motel in Opelousas with “Mojo Paper,” according to St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz in a news release.

Church Point Police seek information about stolen pickup

The Church Point Police Department is investigating the theft of a vehicle from the 100 block of Olivier Highway the night of Oct. 10 or early morning hours of Oct. 11. The stolen vehicle is a 2002 Dodge 6000 pickup, blue and gray in color. It has a fifth wheel assembly in the bed.

Tips sought about burglary at Sassy’s Daiquiris in August

St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives need help in solving a burglary in the Eunice area. On Aug. 28, deputies responded to a burglary at Sassy’s Daiquiris, located at 183 North C.C. Duson St.
