The following are excerpts from the Eunice Police Department radio dispatch logs. Friday, Oct. 11 5:48 a.m. Worker from Eunice Jr. High cafeteria said she is being harassed and yelled out at from a subject. 5:58 a.m. Caller in the 800 block of South Beulah said her husband slapped her. 6:36 a.m.

Train fire cause unknown

A train car fire east of North St. Mary Road after 2 p.m. Thursday caused a flurry of action from first-responders. Thick black smoke came from rail cars on fires north of Acadian Medical Center.
