3 Church Point men linked to Acadia Parish burglaries, thefts

Acadia Parish Sheriff’s deputies continue to close out burglary cases which have plagued various portions of the parish. According to Sheriff KP Gibson, numerous arrests along with a list of wanted persons involved in burglary and theft cases over the last several months was released recently.

Eunice shooting victim identified

The victim of shooting on May 21 in the 1000 block of West Ash Avenue has been identified as Jeffery Rooks, 21, of Eunice. Police Chief Kyle LeBouef also reported that no arrest has been made in the shooting.
