Arrest made in 20-year-old murder case

In December of 2003, Susan Kennedy Jackson’s body was discovered in Bayou Wikoff just north of exit 82 near Crowley. Jackson was discovered with blunt force trauma to her head. Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P.

Police investigating fatal shooting

Eunice Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead and a juvenile female wounded, according to Police Chief Kyle LeBouef. Police responded to the 1000 block of West Ash Avenue at 9:29 p.m. Tuesday to a report of two people having been shot while inside a residence.
