St. Landry Parish Sheriff arrests

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Friday, May 10 Michael Maurice White, 32, 200 block of Pelican Street, Sulphur. Bench warrant. Arrested by St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Multiple burglaries investigated in Eunice area off La. 13

Acadia Parish Sheriff’s detectives are investigating multiple burglaries that occurred on James Place, Hickory Lane and McManus Street, off of La. 13 near Eunice on May 4 between 1:50 and 6 a.m. Two unknown suspects were captured on video surveillance entering vehicles and outdoor storage buildings.

Man convicted of execution-style killing on Father's Day

St. Landry Parish District Chad Pitre reports a man was convicted Thursday of the execution-style murder of an Opelousas man at his home.

Arrest warrant issued for Eunice man in murder case

St. Landry Crime Stoppers and the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office need your help in catching this fugitive who is wanted for the murder of a Eunice resident.    An arrest warrant for Daylon Lewis Rainville has been issued for second-degree murder and aggravated cruelty to animals.
