A disturbance involving family members on May 2 has led to attempted murder charges being filed, according to a news release from Acadia Parish KP Gibson.
During a disturbance, the suspect intentionally struck the family member with his vehicle, causing the victim to roll over the vehicle.

Opelousas Police responded to shots being fired on the 1100 block of Park Avenue and located multiple shell casings at the scene.

Around 2:30 a.m. on Monday, Acadia Fire District 4 responded to a call for an recreational vehicle fire located in the 1600 block of Atterbury Drive in Eunice.
