Stolen accordions landed in Eunice pawn shop

Two Martin brand accordions stolen in a burglary in the 5900 block of Vine Street in Chataignier were located at a Eunice pawn shop, according to a news release from the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office. The burglary occurred on March 20.

Eunice Pollice arrested man on 5 counts of attempted second-degree murder

Eunice Police arrested Lois Daniel Jones, 20, Eunice,on Monday in connection with a shooting on May 14, 2023. Police Chief Kyle LeBouef said officers acted on a tip that a wanted person was near a local business.
