Carjacking suspect identified

Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a carjacking and attempted second-degree murder that occurred at about 11 p.m. March 11. The victim in this case was asked to give the suspect a ride to a residence on Nation Road near Rayne.
