Eunice Police Arrests report

The following are arrests by Eunice Police. June 2 Martha Ann Peterson, 43, 1900 block of Betty, Eunice. Theft, value less than $1,000 shoplifting. Shawn Darbonne, 50, 700 block of Hill, Eunice. Resisting an officer, disturbing the peace.

Officer-involved shooting in Eunice ended a 58—minute pursuit

A suspect wanted on a felony warrant in Carencro fled multiple law enforcement pursuers from Lafayette Parish to dead end James Place off Perchville Road south of Eunice on May 19. Louisiana State Police released details of the incident involving Eunice Police officers firing on the suspect.
