March 22
Francis Thomas, 45, 2000 block of Highway 749, Opelousas. Attempted introduction of contraband into a penal facility. Arrested by St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Eunice Police report investigating a shooting shortly after midnight Tuesday on South East Street.
According to Police Chief Kyle LeBouef, officers determined that several shots had been fired into the structure of a residence, as well as a vehicle parked outside of the residence.
The following are arrests by Eunice Police.
March 21
Kayla Suzanne Gaugh, 31, 700 block of South 13th, Eunice. Domestic abuse battery, simple assault.
Teri Champange, 42, 300 block of West Gum, Eunice.
Brian Roy, 52, 500 block of East Washington, Ville Platte. Bench warrant.
Juvenile, 15, Eunice.

An arrest has been made in connection with the bomb threat at Eunice High School on March 15, according Eunice Police Chief Kyle LeBouef.
After further investigation in conjunction with the school officials, a 16-year-old male student has been charged with one count of terrorizing.
