The following are excerpts from the Eunice Police Department radio dispatch logs. March 15 00:33 Call came through the Suicide Prevention Hotline and said of a teenager subject in the 300 block of Rodney threatening suicide by an overdose of pills.

Eunice Police to get body cameras

Within two to three weeks Eunice Police will have access to body cameras, Police Chief Kyle LeBouef said at Tuesday’s Board of Aldermen meeting. Twenty cameras will be ordered and police will be required to use them, he said. A few officers use their own cameras now, he said.
