Eunice Police identify shooting suspect

Eunice Police are looking for Xavier Berrnard Watson, 31, as a suspect in a shooting that occurred on Wednesday, according Police Chief Randy Fontenot. Police responded to a call about someone being shot in the 200 block of Acadia Street at about 10 p.m. Wednesday.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff arrests

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. May 5 Bryce O. Manuel, 27, 1300 block of W. Cherry Street, Opelousas. Possession with intent to distribute Schedule I CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to use safety belts. Arrested by Opelousas Police.
