3 dead in 2 separate I-10 crashes in Acadia Parish

Two crashes on Interstate 10 occurring within three hours of each other on Tuesday in Acadia Parish left three people dead. The first crash occurred shortly before 8 a.m.

Information sought about fatal shooting in Crowley

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish is seeking information regarding a homicide which occurred at about 1:15 a.m. Jan. 26. Crowley Police responded to a shooting in the Northgate Apartment Complex and discovered that an individual had been fatally shot.

The following are arrests by Eunice Police. July 6 Juvenile, 14, Eunice. Runaway juvenile, curfew violation, illegal carrying a weapon, illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile, theft of a firearm. Ethel M. Fontenot, 25, 800 block of North 4th, Eunice. Warrant.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff Office Arrests

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. July 3-6 Logan Jude Hebert, 23, 100 block of Threatt Street, Eunice. Bench warrant. Arrested by St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. Travion K. Skipper, 25, 2900 block of Fort Point Lane, Carrollton, Texas.

Deadly wreck closes I-10 westbound

The westbound lanes of Interstate 10 are shut down this morning due a major vehicle crash near mile marker 92 just west of Duson Exit near L. Boudreaux Road overpass. Two people reportedly died in the crash. Louisiana State Police are investigating. (Photo by Lisa Soileau/Rayne Tribune)

Men arrested in road rage incident on I-10

Two Florida men were arrested for firing multiple shots from their vehicle on Interstate 10 around 2 p.m. July 4th, according to Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson. “Deputies were able to locate the suspect vehicle near Egan.

Teens struck by vehicle

Two teenagers were struck by a vehicle Sunday evening on Meche Road northeast of Rayne. The incident was report just after 10 p.m. Monday. According to Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P.
