The following are arrests by Eunice Police. August 20 Latashi Eddy, 38, 300 block of Stewartville Road, Crowley. Obstructing public passages, no insurance, driver’s license suspension-revocation, possssion of Schedule II drug less than two grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Crime Stoppers requests tips about stolen 18-wheelers

Acadia Parish Sheriff’s detectives are investigating two 18-wheeler thefts that occurred in the 100 block of Frontage Road, near Duson on Aug 10 and 14. On Aug. 10, multiple suspects stole a 2014 Peterbuilt Freightliner, black in color with “Dailey Trucks, LLC” on the cab.

Deputies find pot, pistol and fake dough

A suspicious vehicle has led to the recovery of a stolen firearm and counterfeit money at 12:08 a.m. Aug. 13, according to Acadia Parish Sheriff KP Gibson. Deputies located a suspicious vehicle on Ella Louis Drive just north of Crowley. The vehicle was occupied by three males.

Deputy fired for gassing up with department fuel card

St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s corrections deputy Christopher Wayne Spencer ended up charged and fired for using a department fuel card to gas up his personal vehicle, Sheriff Bobby Guidroz reported. Spencer, 23, of the 1800 block of La.
