Stolen ATV recovered, one man arrested

St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said a street crime suppression team assisted deputies in nabbing an ATV thief. On Aug. 28, three ATVs being driven without lights were pursued by deputies and the team on Bertrand Road north of Lawtell, he stated.

Curfew, burn ban issued in t. Landry Parish

St. Landry Parish has issued a parish-wide curfew beginning Wednesday 26 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., and again on Thursday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. The curfew applies to pedestrian and vehicular traffic except essential emergency vehicles and personnel.
