Port Allen man charged with vehicular homicide following crash in St. Landry Parish

Louisiana State Police Troop I troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash that resulted in a fatality on U.S. 71 near Chance Road in St. Landry Parish at about 9 p.m. Oct. 5 The crash took the life of 49-year-old Tony Smith of Plaucheville.

1 teen dead, 2 seriously injured in head-on crash

Louisiana State Police Troop I troopers responded a two-vehicle crash that resulted in a fatality on a. 70 near Oak Harbor Drive in St. Martin Parish at around 9:30 p.m. Oct.5. The crash later took the life of 16-year-old Destiny Boyd of Napoleonville.
