The following are arrests by Eunice Police. Dec. 21 David Mayne, 20, 1800 block of West Dudley Street, Eunice. Probation violation and introduction of contraband in a penal facility. Deion Madison, 22, 200 block of Bayou Drive, Alexandria. Battery of a dating partner and false imprisonment.

EPSO arrest two; confiscates 430 grams of meth

On Monday, the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported a drug bust that occurred on December 11, 2017, where 430 grams of Methamphetamine were confiscated and Christopher Bolfa and James T. Wall, Jr. were arrested.

Chief reopens old murder cases

New Police Chief Richard “Ricky” Martin has begun a renewed effort to solve three cold murder cases, including one going back to 2014. The victims were: •Casey Alexander, 28, who was shot during a home invasion in 2014.
