Eunice man arrested in Houston; accused of attack on child

A 20-year-old Eunice man was arrested in Houston by U.S. Marshal deputies Thursday in the attempted first-degree murder of a 4-year-old boy, Eunice Police Detective Robert Brickley said.

D.A. receives investigative file in DeJuan Guillory case

Evangeline Parish District Attorney Trent Brignac announced on Wednesday that his office has received the Louisiana State Police investigative file from the deputy involved shooting that ended the life of DeJuan Guillory last July.
