Body discovered in Bayou Blanc

Boaters discovered the body of an unidentified male in Bayou Blanc between I-10 and the Pontoon Bridge near Estherwood. Authorities have not confirmed foul play at this time. We will update you as the investigation allows.

Sheriff says woman, 33, charged again for having sex with minor

A 33-year-old woman has been arrested again for having sex with the same male minor, St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said in a news release.
