Actor Corey Feldman picked up in Mangham

The Mangham Police Department pulled over actor/musician Corey Feldman this weekend, leading to drug charges for a number of people. Mangham Police Chief Perry Fleming said Officer Marshall Waters stopped an RV for speeding on HWY 425 in Mangham on Oct. 21.

Fire on Halsey

Eunice Fire Chief Michael Arnold said three units responded to a fire at an abandoned house at 12:30 p.m. Friday at 571 Halsey St. The cause of the fire is undetermined and is under investigation by State Fire Marshal’s investigators. (Photo by Myra Miller)

Fournerat Road burglary tips sought by Crime Stoppers

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs the public’s help to solve a crime. The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a residential burglary which occurred during daytime hours on Oct. 27 in the 200 block of Fournerat Road in the northern part of Acadia Parish.
