For nearly two years the cause of Brittney Fontenot’s death has been the subject of investigation.
There were reports of FBI agents, Louisiana State Police investigators and Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s deputies asking questions and conducting interviews.

Eunice man arrested, accused of armed threats in Acadia Parish

Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies investigated a complaint of aggravated assault with a firearm on March 12 near Mallet Cove Loop near Eunice.
The victim complained to a school bus driver about other children making threats to his children while riding the bus.
