Vermilion Parish Corgi wins People’s Choice Pup at Farm Bureau Convention

It was the best Case scenario for one Louisiana farm dog at the American Farm Bureau Annual Convention. Case, a 4-year-old corgi from Vermilion Parish, is winner of the AFBF People’s Choice Pup social media contest.

Autism indicator available on Louisiana identification cards

Eligible residents can now request to have an “Autism” indicator added to their Louisiana identification card. Qualified applicants include any person diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder by a qualified medical or mental health professional.

Montoucet tells progress of LDWF during tenure

After a stint as a state representative, Jack Montoucet has served seven years as the secretary of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. Dating back to his years in the House, Montoucet has visited the Crowley Lions Club on numerous occasions as guest speaker.
