BSEE proposes revisions to Well Control Rule

Some recent editorials and news stories have falsely characterized regulatory review efforts currently underway at the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement, apparently without having actually read the proposed revisions. One editorial in the Houston Chronicle expressed worries that many, including the U.S. Government and our agency, commonly referred to as BSEE, might have forgotten the lessons of the 2010 Deepwater Horizon tragedy and other offshore incidents. Sports and community build unity

There are two men that I will always remember for how much they loved their community and wanted to see the best in people – Tony Fuselier and Tim Fontenot.
Thursday night at the Joe Nagata Memorial Jamboree the football fans there honored the memory of founding chairman Tony Fuselier.
Tony was the man behind the idea of Eunice High and St. Edmund joining together for a jamboree to show respect for coach Nagata.
This year is the fifth annual Nagata jamboree and the stadium had Blue Jays and Bobcats roaming the sidelines.

Just like ever other of the preseasons, I begam this trek the early morning of July 31 as the Basile Bearcats joined together for media day photos.
The journey continued around the tri-parish area as I visited Iota, Church Point, Eunice High and Mamou before my final stop at St. Edmund.
Every team has high hopes heading into the football season with the plan to win their respective districts and make a deep run in the playoffs.
