Alderwoman Germaine Simpson repeated her plea to Eunice residents to bag their trash before placing it in the trash carts.
Simpson said at the July 9 city Board meeting that she has been talking about the issue for two years.
Three ordinance amendments are on the Eunice Board of Aldermen’s agenda for the meeting on Tuesday.
The ordinances concern trash fires and bicycle licensing and registration.
The agenda for Tuesday’s Board of Aldermen meeting, as of Thursday, was fairly light for two new members.
Chad Andrepont, Ward 1, and Ernest Blanchard, Ward 3, attended their first agenda meeting Thursday as aldermen.
The short take on the Eunice city fiscal status is the balanced sheet is not in a deficit and there was a $415,000 cash gain, according to accountant Shirley Vige at Tuesday’s Board meeting.

They were among 10 properties to be scrutinized at the meeting.

Five properties in Eunice moved closer to a cleanup after Tuesday’s meeting of the Board of Aldermen and mayor.
Two properties were given 30 days to get cleaned up. Those properties are 210 E. Oak St. and 571 Halsey St.
