The St. Ed’s Lady Jays won the tournament championship at the Sacred Heart Turkey Tournament recently, beating Lake Charles College Prep by a 63-46 margin to jump out to a 5-1 start on the 2024-2025 basketball season.

Lady Jays capture the Turkey Tournament title

The experience-laden St. Edmund Lady Jays basketball team continued its red-hot start to its 2024 season over the Thanksgiving holiday in securing the tournament championship in the Turkey Tournament hosted at Sacred Heart.

Bobcats emerge from a 2-8 season with some strengths

The adage goes that it’s always darkest before the dawn. For the Eunice Bobcats, an abnormally down season where the team finished 2-8 and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2003 will hopefully represent the last time the program is talking about this type of dip for the next 20 years.
