Blue Jays face winless Tara

One week the Blue Jays won on the ground and the next game, St. Edmund attacked through the air.
The Blue Jays opened the season with wins over Oakdale and Basile and the Blue Jays will face Class 4-A Tara this week.

Bobcats visit Mustangs

After struggling against Opelousas Catholic, Eunice responded with a 33-18 win over rival Jennings.
“We didn’t play well against OC,” Eunice head coach Andre Vige said.

Bobcats run past Jennings

In a game between long time rivals, Eunice grabbed a 33-18 win over Jennings.
“Anytime the Cats and Dogs get together you know it’s going to be a big time intensity game,” Eunice head coach Andre Vige said.

Jays down Basile, 35-21

BASILE – In the Battle of Bayou Des Cannes, St. Edmund claimed a 35-21 win over Basile.
It was an impressive outing for the Blue Jay offense as Luke Vidrine completed 12-of-18 passes for 308 yards.

Jays visit Bearcats

The rivalry has been renewed as St. Edmund travels to Basile Friday night.
“This is more than just another game,” St. Edmund head coach James Shiver said. “This is huge rivalry and special game for both schools.”

Bobcats face rival Jennings

The rivalry between Eunice High and Jennings continues this week as the Bulldogs visit Bobcat Field.

Blue Jays down Warriors

The St. Edmund Blue Jays opened the season with a convincing 35-8 win over the Oakdale Warriors.
“It is great to win the season opener,” St. Edmund James Shiver. “We had a great night on offense and the defense played lights’ out.”

Vikings stun Bobcats, 26-12

Opelousas Catholic scored twice in the final two minutes as the Vikings earned a 26-12 over the Eunice Bobcats.
