By Tom Dodge Sports Editor Eunice High celebrated their football season accomplishments at its annual ceremony. Hayden Darbonne earned the Jerry Hoffpauir Memorial Award as the team’s MVP. Dedric Vigers was given the Faize Mahfouz Memorial Award.
Eunice High School seniors Allison Freeman and Madison Freeman signed a letter of intent with McNeese State University to join the university’s track and field team. Allison was rewarded with an academic and athletic scholarship, and Madison was awarded with a partial athletic and academic scholarship.
