The annual Perry Pitre Ford jamboree will be held this weekend at both Eunice High and St. Edmund baseball fields.
The junior varsity jamboree will be played on Friday, followed by the varsity teams competing on Saturday.
The Blue Jay faithful celebrated as St. Edmund grabbed a sweep over Eunice High.
The Lady Jays closed the regular season with a 56-31 over the Lady Bobcats before St. Ed’s capped the night with a 55-53 victory over the Bobcats.
The Eunice High Lady Bobcats only played nine softball games in 2020 before the COVD-19 pandemic halted the season.

BELLEVUE – St. Edmund and Westminster Christian Academy shared wins Tuesday as the teams fight to improve their LHSAA power rankings.
For years there have been jokes told about the alleged lack of smart athletes.
In a clash between rivals, St. Edmund and Sacred Heart of Ville Platte shared District 5-1A wins.
The Lady Jays (11-6, 2-1) used a stingy defense and timely scoring to earn a 38-17 win over Sacred Heart of Ville Platte (3-12, 1-3).
Eunice held a 13-point lead heading into the fourth quarter and held off a late Teurlings Catholic run as the Bobcats grabbed a 53-45 win over the Rebels.
The game was a battle early on as Teurlings jumped out to a 6-3 lead over EHS.
LEBEAU – For the first time since 2013, the Lady Jays defeated perenial district power North Central as the Lady Jays grabbed a 41-36 victory.
In 2013, the Lady Jays earned a 41-36 win over the Lady Hurricanes.
