Lady Cats close district with win

MAMOU – The Eunice Lady Bobcats closed District 5-3A competition with a 48-37 victory over the Mamou Lady Demons.
The LHSAA will release the playoff brackets on Monday.

Lady Bobcat White shines on Senior Night

It was Lady Bobcats’ Senior Night and Stacie White responded with 33 points to help Eunice High earn a 48-29 victory over Port Barre Friday night.
White did all the scoring for the Lady Cats in the first quarter with nine points.

Grand Lake downs Jays on Senior Night

It was Senior Night for St. Edmund Thursday but Grand Lake took two wins in Distreict 4-1A play.
The Lady Jays opened with an 11-6 run over the Lady Hornets.
But Grand Lake then took control and rolled for a 54-35 win.

CHURCH POINT – A fight on the court late in the game Tuesday between Church Point and Eunice and the ensuing melee could result in multiple suspensions of players from both teams.

The two teams battled for control for most of the game before Eunice escaped with a 67-62 District 5-3A win over Crowley Friday night.

The Lady Indians moved one step closer to the District 4-1A title as Elton rolled to a 70-27 win Thursday over the St. Edmund Lady Jays.
The Indians sealed the double header sweep with a 64-38 victory over the Blue Jays.

Eunice wins in double feature thriller

Fans got their money’s worth Tuesday when Iota visited Eunice for a crucial District 5-3A doubleheader.
The Lady Cats opened the night with a 67-56 win and the Bobcats followed with a 90-87 overtime victory.

Northwest sweeps Eunice

PRAIRIE RONDE – The Eunice High Lady Bobcats fell prey to the Lady Raiders of Northwest High School here Friday night in District action at the Northwest gym by a score of 84-70.

Lady Jays win thriller

Lady Jay Mary Beth Lafeur scored on a lay-up with one second left to force a tie game after the Lady Bearcats came storming back from a 31-13 deficit.

Blue Jays hold sports awards ceremony

St. Edmund held its Fall Sports award ceremony Monday as volleyball, football, trainers, film, stats, rodeo, cross country, dance team, cheerleaders and drum line were all recognized.
