Bobcats fall to Red Devils

In their final home game of the season Tuesday, the Eunice Bobcats fell 53-50 to the Port Barre Red Devils. Port Barre got it started early in the first quarter with three three-pointers from Glen Pickney, Mehkai Franklin and J.T. Pickney. Frank Lazare also knocked down two free-throws also.

Blue Jays win 2-OT thriller

The Blue Jays outscored Loreauville 10-4 in the second overtime as St. Edmund battled to a 56-50 win over the Tigers.

Lady Jays roll past Opelousas Catholic

Eunice High’s Shanyia Toussaint poured in 31 points in her final home game to help the Lady Bobcats grab a 59-54 win over Rayne on Senior Night.

LaGrange sweeps Eunice

It was a fight to the finish as the LaGrange Gators earned a 57-50 District 4-4A win over the Eunice Bobcats. LaGrange’s Darrel Washington had the hot hand early as he scored the game’s first 11 points including four two-pointers and three free-throws.

VILLE PLATTE – Facing a hostile environment in rival territory, St. Edmund grabbed a sweep over Sacred Heart of Ville Platte. The Lady Jays used a strong defense and a fourth quarter offensive surge to earn a 45-35 District 5-1A win over the Lady Trojans.

North Central sweeps St. Ed’s

North Central proved its District 5-1A dominance with a double header sweep over St. Edmund. The Lady Hurricanes (15-6, 2-0) cruised for an 81-30 win over the Lady Jays (9-11, 0-1) in a key district contest.

Bobcats fall to Rebels

LAFAYETTE – The Eunice Bobcats traveled to Teurlings Catholic for a non-district game on Tuesday night and the Rebels grabbed a 52-39 win. The Rebels began the scoring in the first quarter with buckets from Dylan Guidry and a free-throw from Caleb Thomas.

Indians run past Eunice

The district struggles continued for Eunice High as Washington-Marion earned a sweep Friday night. The Lady Indians (5-13 overall, 2-1 in District 4-4A) jumped out to a 10-4 first quarter lead, sparked by seven points from Makenzie Tillman.
