LAKE CHARLES – The Bobcats split a double-header in the Westlake tournament as Eunice won 18-3 against Merryville but fell short against DeQuincy, 8-7.
OAKDALE – The Lady Bobcats grabbed two wins in the Oakdale tournament to improve 2-2 on the early softball season.
After an 11-5 loss to Pitkin to open the tournament, the Lady Cats regrouped for wins over South Beauregard and South Cameron.

St. Edmund opened the Lady Warrior tournament with a hard-fought 12-10 victory over South Beauregard.
