The Eunice Community Garden introduces a new program “Grow an Extra Row.” According to Randy Miller, a director at Eunice Community Garden, said, “This is a program that is called by a different name in different areas of the United States as well as other countries.

Jerry and Connie Hanna of Eunice will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday from 2 until 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church’s student building. Jerry and Connie Hanna were married on June 5, 1971, at Harding Street Baptist Church in Baker.

Summer Reading program to begin at library

Eunice Public Library announces its Summer Reading program

The Eunice Public Library has announced that it will have a Summer Reading program this year. The theme is “Allons Lire Cajun French for Let’s Go Read.” The library will host a registration party at 10 a.m. on Monday. The summer reading program is designed for children, teens, and adults.
