Hula Hoop fun at Eunice Community Gardens

Many kids and parents registered and participated in a free Hula Hoop event hosted by Eunice Community Gardens on May 15. Lisa Johnson, a local professional fitness instructor, was on hand and led the group into a Hula Hoop lesson and fun times with a Hula Hoop.

The Petals of Mercy, a Theresian Community in Eunice, recently offered a morning reflection for women. The pre-Mother’s Day event was based upon the book by Joanna Weaver “ Having A Mary Heart in A Martha World.” The two-hour program took place at the Jeanmard Hall with over 80 women participating.
