Autumn is an ideal time to tend to lawns and gardens

Players’ Theatre presents Southern Fried Funeral

The Eunice Players Theatre introduces the cast of “Southern Fried Funeral” by Osborne & Eppler. The dates of the upcoming play are set for 7 p.m. on Nov. 7, 8, 10, 13, 16 and 17. There will be a dinner theatre on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. with show at 7 p.m. A matinee feature is set for 2 p.m.

Bulb Business Garden of the Month chosen

Nova’Lea Cormier Tori Cormier of Eunice announces the birth of her daughter, Nova’Lea Teanae Cormier, born at Acadian Medical Center on Oct. 3 weighing 7 pounds and 6 ounces. Maternal grandmother is Debra Richard of Church Point.

Greg LeJeune at Liberty

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will have a performance by Greg LeJeune & Cajun Heat. Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, and children ages 7 to 12 are $3.

Highland students earn mastery in LEAP

Highland Elementary welcomed a guest Paul DeRouselle Jr., a native of Eunice, to campus recently to present rewards and awards to the school’s fourth graders for their hard earned work. Students were all treated with donuts and juice.
