Trahan at Liberty

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will have a performance by Wallace Trahan & Rice N Gravy. Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, and children ages 7 to 12 are $3.

Serve breakfast foods at dinner

I love eating breakfast foods. My favorite foods include eggs, bacon, grits and pancakes. I have in the past served breakfast foods at dinner time. Cooking breakfast foods, I find, is faster and easier.

St. Ed High students attend St. Landry Parish Career Fair

St. Edmund High students attended the St. Landry Parish Career Fair. Students visited with 56 different booths and learned about various careers. In the “Reality Store”, they made a budget and learned about expenses associated with transportation, housing, family life, and leisure and entertainment.

Players’ Theatre stages ‘Southern Fried Funeral’

The Eunice Players’ Theatre will stage “Southern Fried Funeral,” directed by Amy Markle and Sharon Blankenship.Showings are at 7 p.m. Nov. , 8, 10, 13, 16 and 17. The dinner theater showing will be at 6 p.m. Nov. 14. A matinee performance is scheduled at 2 p.m. Nov. 11.
