Training session at St. Ed

Louisiana’s House of Representatives approved a bill that would allow school personnel to administer opioid overdose antidotes to overdose victims. St. Edmund faculty and staff were among some of the first to be trained in this effort.

Louisiana 4-H’ers take educational awards trip

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will have a performance by Sheryl Cormier & Cajun Sound. Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, and children ages 7 to 12 are $3.

A senior textiles major student at Depot

Ardhyn Parks, a senior at Savannah College of Arts and Designs in Savannah, Georgia, paid a visit at the Eunice Depot Museum Wednesday. Parks is studying textiles. She set up a loom, which takes several hours, and began her weaving, doing “her thing.
