St. Ed Jr. Beta gives to Eunice Food Bank

St. Edmund Jr. Beta Club members recently presented a check for $2,290 to the Eunice Food Bank from their Christmas Cookie Festival project at school. Today we presented a check to the Eunice Food Bank for $2290.00. The event was open for grades pre-k through eighth grade students.

St. Ed students participate in Giving Tree

St. Edmund Middle School students participated in the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church’s Giving Tree project for disadvantaged children. Students earned money to give towards purchasing children’s gifts for Christmas. The class who gave the most were taken to Walmart to shop for the gifts.

St. Ed Jr. Beta host Christmas Cookie Fest

The St. Edmund Junior Beta Club held a Christmas Cookie Festival as a service for the holiday season. Elementary and middle school students were all invited. All money raised by the event went to the Eunice Food Bank to help people in our community have a better Christmas. (Submitted photo)

Birth Announcements

Asher Cain Blaize and Katie Cain of Opelousas announce the birth of their son, Asher James Cain, born at Acadian Medical Center on Dec. 17 weighing 6 pounds and 4 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Carol Arnaud and Ricky Arnaud of Opelousas and Daniel Mayeux of Grand Coteau.

Donation to Eunice Food Bank
