Guest speakers at Glendale

Eunice postal workers, Ray Rougeau and Feloman Rougeau, recently paid a visit to Glendale Elementary kindergarten classes. They discussed tehir daily work routines including mail routes and work duties that are performed inside the post office.

Spring-flowering trees add interest to landscapes

Teacher of Year at Eunice High

Eunice High School named Sarah Thomas as its Teacher of the Year. Thomas graduated from Vidrine High, then went onto pursue a bachelors of science at LSU in microbiology and a bachelors of science in chemical engineering at UL Lafayette.

Birth Announcements

Owen Christ Logan and Kristie Christ of Mamou announce the birth of their son, Owen Dean Christ, born at Acadian Medical Center on Jan. 1 weighing 6 pounds and 14 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Junice Fontenot of Mamou and Jody and Kim Soileau of Mamou.
