The annual St. Landry Parish Council on Aging Mardi Gras Dance was held Monday at the Northwest Community Center.
Seniors enjoyed a live band by Big J & The Zydeco Dog Pound and danced to Zydeco and traditional Cajun music.
Eunice Elementary held a Mardi Gras parade on Feb. 9 with students dressed in Mardi Gras costumes. Neysa Miller, a teacher; leads students along the small parade route. Students had the opportunity to throw beads to Eunice Jr.
