Grant awarded to Highland

Krystle Smith, Highland Elementary’s Learning Center teacher, secured a grant from TransCanada Corporation. The grant will be used in phases to place security cameras around the campus in order to keep students, faculty and staff safe on a daily basis.

Cold snap will delay strawberries, increase cost

Kameron Wilson Jr. Emily Castille and Kameron Wilson of Eunice announce the birth of their son, Kameron Quashun Wilson Jr., born at Acadian Medical Center on Jan. 7 weighing 6 pounds and 14 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Desiree Spell of Campti, and Skeet Castille of Rayne.
