J.C. and Thelma Ledoux of Eunice celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary in October.
St. Edmund students in the fourth and fifth grades were recognized for their achievements in the ALEKS Math Program and the System 44 Reading Program.
Eunice High School named its Student of the Year Rylie Fontenot, Teacher of the Year Lamont Goodman, New Teacher of the Year Brooke Comeaux and Support Worker of the Year Julie Holman.

The 23rd annual Noel on the Prairie Holiday Shopping Spree was held Saturday and Sunday. The Open House was held from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday and some businesses were opened from noon until 4 p.m. Sunday.
Turkey is the centerpiece of Thanksgiving dinners. The National Turkey Federation estimates approximately 46 million turkeys are consumed on Thanksgiving each year, followed by 22 million turkeys at Christmastime.
