Mildred Phillips of Eunice says she Flushes out Cancer. In her front yard is a pink toilet filled with pink silk roses. Phillips is a three-year breast cancer survivor. Instead of decorating for Halloween she chooses to decorate her yard in pink as a symbol of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Neluh Hulen Cur’Sondra Hulen and Dustin Stevens announce the birth of their daughter, Nuleh Rosemary Nazir Hulen, born at Acadian Medical Center on Sept. 29 weighing 7 pounds. Maternal grandparents are Douglas Bellard and Mary Hulen. She was welcomed home by Ollirum Murillo.
