Louisiana Garden Club Federation District VII Director Ammy Taylor attended the October meeting of the Bulb and Blossom Garden Club of Eunice. Taylor, as district director, is making her way around the district to meet with the members of the seven clubs that make up District VII.

Carl and Jan Oliver’s residence located at 1510 Amazon received the Residential Garden of the Month presented by the Eunice Bulb & Blossom Garden Club. The landscaped flowering beds include drift roses, vinca, salvia, shi shi, lantana. plumbago, dianthus, amaryllis and wandering Jew.

St. Edmund homecoming parade marshal

St. Edmund High School announced its homecoming parade marshal during the school’s pep rally. Ann Fruge received the distinquished honor to serve as the school’s parade marshal. Fruge has served St. Edmund Catholic School in countless ways over the years. She is a 1952 graduate of St. Edmund.
