Mardi Gras season at Le Vieux Presbyte´re Le Vieux Presbytère Museum announces three events for the Mardi Gras season, all of which are free and open to the public. First, Le Bal de Maison, or house dance, with live music performed by Cajun Fire, is scheduled for 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 24.

Pageants announced The Junior, Teen, Miss and Ms. Cajun Mardi Gras Festival Queen Cajun Mardi Gras Festival pageant is Jan. 17. Junior, Teen and Miss contestants must be from St. Landry, Acadia, or Evangeline parishes. The Ms. competition is open to anyone.
