3rd annual Theology on the Prairie set The 3rd Annual Theology on the Prairie, sponsored by Acadiana Roots, a non-profit organization, will be held on Thursday evenings beginning Oct. 9, 16, 23, 30 at 5:30 p.m. with refreshments and at 6:05 p.m.

Church Point man loses murder case appeal

A Church Point man lost his appeal of two convictions of first-degree murder of his grandfather John Guillory and godmother, Lois Guillory, on May 18, 2020. Judges of the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeal affirmed Detrick Nathaniel Guillory’s conviction.

LSUE sets enrollment records during Fall semester

LSU Eunice continues its impressive trend with a third straight fall semester of breaking enrollment records on campus. LSUE’s Fall 2025 semester features the largest amount of enrolled students as well as credit hours taken in school history.
