Unrestrained motorist killed in head-on collision in St. Landry Parish

On Saturday, shortly after 2 p.m., Troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop I began investigating a two-vehicle fatality crash on Louisiana Highway 358 near its intersection with Louisiana Highway 357. The crash claimed the life of 38-year-old Alex Chavis of Church Point.
